The universe is full of colours. Color can sway thinking, change actions and cause reactions. It affects our moods, feeling and emotions. We cannot imagine a world without colours. Nature is filled with beautiful colours. Yellow is the colour between orange and green on the spectrum of visible light. The enthusiastic and bubbling kiddies of Muthamil Kindergarten explored the beauty of YELLOW through a variety of activities. It is said ‘Yellow is the colour of the east, childhood and morning’. It exudes warmth, inspiration and reality. The Kindergarteners were dressed in yellow, with yellow balloons and yellow toys around them. The tiny tots looked dazzling and stunning with their yellow attires. The kids were made to understand and explore the color yellow. It was a fun-filled session with a song on yellow balloon, school bus song, an activity of Show and Tell, making thumb printing and palm impression using yellow colour poster paint. Through this experiential learning kids were exposed to increased mental activity that naturally enhanced their vision, positivity, optimism and joy. It was indeed an enlightenment on the colour YELLOW for the kindergarteners.
