The constitution of India came into effect on 6 January 1950, replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic.
In Mp,s we celebrated this event with all the teachers. The event began with a welcome speech that was delivered by Mrs.Dhanlakshmi. Our Correspondent Mrs. Jeyanthi Babu hoisted the flag. We had teachers talk about Republic day and also some Patriotic songs sung by them in Hindi and Tamil. Finally Mr. Sethu delivered his vote of thanks.
National Anthem was sung and the event was ended. It's indeed proud to be citizens of free India.
