“ Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” with this motto our Muthamil Public School twinkling stars celebrated their “My School and Kalvi valarchi Nal”. Students talked about the rooms in a school, things they see in the classroom, Safety measures to be followed when they go out to play in the playground, they incorporate the Montessori tools in their learning methodology and spoke about the Great leader Mr. Kamarajar. LKG students made a school bus and displayed pencil activities using paints. UKG students did colouring in their Art and Craft book.
Many children participated in the show and tell competition. To strengthen the verbal skills and to foster public speaking competency of the young minds, the students from Pre KG to class II were made to take part in various activities which in turn will boost their self-confidence and self-esteem. It enabled them to improve their descriptive skills by communicating feelings, thoughts and emotions through words. The students were informed to bring their favourite toy of their choice. They were excited to share their descriptive narration and waited eagerly for their turn to show and tell. Thus, this event helped our tiny tots to build their social, emotional and language skills. It was an interesting and a thrilling experience for the kids sharing their feelings with peers which provided fun and comfortable learning arena for everyone involved.
