In the campus of Muthamil Public School, the Harvest Festival of Tamilians brightened up with the overwhelming parents of our school making pongal with their families. The aura of the festive welcome of the new month Thai was celebrated with great joy, cheer and happiness- the real spirit of celebrating pongal. Students gave myriad programs webbed with speech, songs, dances and weaved in the essence of culture. The colorful attires of pattu pavadai and sattai and dhothi sufficed the essence of Pong celebration.
Special games for parents like sack race, tug of war ,skipping, seven stones were conducted for parents and all the winners took home prizes. Kabaddi ,Cycle race, Kho- kho and spotting the pot with a stick were other interesting games that students enjoyed on this occasion. Muthamil Media Club made their first attempt in recording the feelings and expressions of our parents in our campus. The day was a feast of talents of our students in different angles.
