Monarch of Chaturanga - District Level Chess Tournament: The dawn of 2020 began with the triumphant conduction of Monarch of Chaturanga with about 350 participants from 20+ various schools of Tirunelveli district combating in the Under 7,9,11,13,15 and 17. The initial moves in the chess began with the chess coin move by our eminent chief guests of the day Mr. Ramesh Raja, Managing Director, Mayan Groups and Mr. Jigesh David, DGM, ISRO, Mahendragiri who graced the occasion with their precious presence. The Overall Champion 1st and 2nd positions were bagged by Vels Public School, Sankarankovil and Cambridge International School Ambasamudram. We congratulate the winners and participant of every school.
The winners took home trophies and certificates. Cheers overwhelmed the auditorium with photo lights glistening and making it a memorable beginning of 2020.
