Sparrow is a bird that is under threat of being extinct. It is a very small bird. Today in MPS Mr. Moorthy Retd Assistant director of statistics who has dedicated his entire life in preserving birds and their habitats was invited to school and to teach our students on the importance to preserve wildlife and also to teach students to prepare bird feeders.
Birdfeeder is a container filled with birdseed that is placed outdoors to attract wild birds. Our students were enthralled to make their own birdfeeders using cardboard to hang in front of their homes.
This would also give the students a sense of responsibility towards wildlife. It was a fun-filled educative session.
