Drama is an effective learning tool that wholly absorbs the student’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional being. It taps the creative potential of every child involved in dramatic learning and develops their critical thinking skills. It is a valuable teaching strategy to enhance students learning. A special Orientation programme was organised in our school in association with NPNK, Service 2 Society, Saral ICT Online classes, Red Elephant Theater Company and Dinamalar Daily newspaper (Media Partner). The topic was DRAMA IN EDUATION TRAINING FOR TEACHERS. The effective method of teaching through this theatric performance enthralled and captivated the attention of the teachers who were temporally spell bound watching the dramatic effect taking on their spirits. It was indeed a wonderful and delightful training programme wherein all the teachers’ participants enjoyed and learnt the art of inculcating Drama into Teaching.
