“Creativity is as important as Literacy and both should be given the same status”.
The main objective of clubs is to hone communication skills, foster creativity and enable students to work efficiently with others. Keeping this objective in mind, MPS has formulated six clubs for the academic year 2023-24 such as the Literary club (English and Tamil), Art club, Entrepreneur club, Eco club, Media club, and Cookery club headed by seasoned faculties. With much pride we would like to share the good news that Eco club was bestowed with Green Champion Award this year for their tireless efforts.
The club inauguration commenced with the lighting of the inaugural lamp by our Correspondent, Mrs. Jayanthi Babu, Principal , Mrs. Mary Rani and club secretaries. The overall club in charge is Mr. Felix who presented glimpses of various activities performed by the students in the previous year and the list of activities proposed for this academic year. This was followed by the PPT of various club secretaries and their art of persuasion to enroll more students in their club was commendable.
The club secretaries were honored by the correspondent with Badges and inauguration came to a close with the vote of thanks.
The overwhelming response and the dilemma the students had to choose a club of their choice was evident in their faces.
