The students of Muthamil Public School celebrated Bakrid by outlining its significance through a short online programme. It is an important festival in the Muslim calendar. It is an indication of unconditional love and faith towards God. Prophet Ibrahim was willing to sacrifice his own son as an act of obedience to God’s command. It was a true test of Love and Submission to God. The celebrations sent a clear message of Love, Devotion, Kindness and Equality. The verse of the Quran was invoked through the Namaz by IRFAAN and ESHAAN. This was followed by a short skit by YAH MUHAMMED and SANAA. SAMEERA FATHIMA added flavor to the programme by narrating an interesting story from the Quran. This was finally followed by a wonderful speech by JUMANA THANVEER. The performance of all the participants was noteworthy. We specially appreciate FARIYA DEEBA for anchoring the entire programme and also all the participant students and their parents for their cooperation and support to propagate this message of Bakrid.
